Titillation
Well, the weekend was fun (if chilly).
The Superbowl was more or less enjoyable — though the half-time show had to have been one of the lamest that I’ve seen. And what was with that Janet Jackson “costume malfunction” at the end of her lip-synced number with Justin Timberlake? Are thirteen-year-old boys in charge of the half-time show planning, now? ‘Cause they are about the only ones who would find Janet’s finale, uh, titillating.
Or maybe I’m just getting crotchety in my old age…

Slush
For some reason the theme song from Hawaii Five-O keeps looping through my head today. Maybe it’s wishful, beach-related thinking… It is cold and slushy around here. Rain meandering to sleet, flirting with ice and then wandering back to drizzle….
