Warm Enough
The moon is like a pearl, with a spot-light shining on it. Patches of perfect black skies, set with diamond stars…and clouds. Those are white and purple-blue…
I did not walk today — but I dreamt, earlier. A house, by the water. A flowering tree outside: it’s blossoms like soft white pine cones. And a letter. I dreamt of a letter that held an abundance of good news.
Right now the wind is shifting around strongly, outside. Right now the night air is a heavy animal, prowling and pouncing. I can hear the chimes, grown frantic.
In here it is mostly quiet. Warm enough, though.
