Tuesday’s Cold
The light is dimming down out there, washed from the sky by steady lines of gray. A preponderance of green saves the scene from being too dreary. All that new growth is soothing (even if it is quite wet). Me? I’m slow and sneezy, drifting into the evening with a glass of chocolate milk and a well-used box of kleenex. Seems I snagged a cold over the weekend.
Ah well…
I voted, earlier. My first time on the new computerized touch screen machines. It was pretty straight-forward — though I do sort of miss the old mechanical lever voting machines with their automatic curtains and clicks and clacks. That felt a bit like doing some factory work. This was much more ephemeral. Like going to an ATM machine.
Progress…
I think I’ll watch a movie or something. And sniffle for a while.
