Summer
Earlier, Gabby was an inky pool on the floor, curled in a patch of sunshine. I ruffled her heated fur and said, “Good morning”. She meowed (a bit sleepily) and went back to napping. A relaxed way to start the first day of Summer, for sure.
Not being a cat myself, I am swilling coffee and buzzing about. Getting ready for work. Ah, but the shine and birdsong outside… The blue skies. It would be nice to nap — or to go out and soak the hours up in a patch of sunshine.
