Oohing & Ahhing
Wednesday, July 4th, 2007So, Hello July! June seemed to evaporate like a puddle on a hot sidewalk — now we’re in the middle month of the season. Time blurs, baby.
We had two of the big trees in the front yard removed. They’d died awhile back and were looking pretty Gothic (and potentially dangerous) against the Summer skyline. Now that they are gone, though, the front view is like the space after a shout. It’ll take some getting used to. I’d like to plant a cherry tree where the willow was. That would look pretty by the pond in the Spring…
Anyway, I’m off today and looking forward to celebrating the holiday. I hope that everyone else who is partying today has a safe and fun time.
