September One

The light has changed. Today, the sky is a deep and perfect blue, the sunlight: crystal-clear. There is a smooth and gentle coolness to the air and the sounds of birds and cicadas speak of the end of a season. Still, Summer holds on (and I to it).
So nice to be off on a Saturday, to stretch-out into sunny hours. I’m sipping green tea and getting ready for a little picnic. I hope your weekend is bright and pretty, too.
