The Sky is Milk
White has been pulsing here and back, today. Tides of fine snow floating down, covering and then melting away. A few flowers are still blooming through it all. The sky is milk.
I’m doing laundry while iTunes randomly plays the songs that I’ve loaded into it so far. (Which means that I’ve just cross-faded from Ministry to Ryuichi Sakamoto: groovy!) I’m amazed by how much having a notebook computer has reduced the amount of cables and plugged-in devices on my desk. I’ve gone from a bulky mass of wired and blinking items to a MacBook Pro, iPhone 3G, and a candle.
Sweet. Now, if I can bring that whole “simple and clean” look to the rest of my living space, I will be sailing some serene waters…
It is quiet outside, and in here. I’m glad I’m off work today. Time to check the laundry, and maybe have a bite to eat.
