Downloading a Flashlight
Doing laundry, on a dim and misty day off from work. Sipping ice-cold water, in-between. During the second load, something blew a fuse. Grumbling to myself, I searched around for a flashlight, so that I could find the right switch to flip. I found a light ok — but the battery was dead. Pondering soggy laundry I wondered if my iPhone would cast enough of a glow. Then I figured, why not try the app store?
Sure enough, there were several “flashlight” apps for the iPhone. I tapped a few times, downloaded one into my phone and flicked it on: let there be light. It worked like a charm (and my socks and boxers and now nice and dry, thank you).
The world gets more virtual all the time…
