Monday, August 30th, 2010It is quiet. Mostly. I’m listening to the crickets outside. Beyond them, the cars passing on the highway sound like distant waves. I can’t see any of that. The night is jet black beyond my window. I’m in a small pool of light, here. A small island of silence. The only sound I am making is the tapping of my fingers on the keyboard. And breathing. I don’t know what to do. My eyes are heavy. I’m almost tired enough to sleep.
