Missing Audrey
I dreamt that she embraced me last night. The shade of the recollection tinted my day. Blue skies and shine. Snow: a vanishing archipelago. The visuals pre-echoed Spring. The feel was still Winter. Later, I watched the twilight with a tall glass of water. Indigo fading to jet. It is quiet here, now — as it often is. The moments seem soft. I’m letting them go. And missing Audrey.
