About This Site
Hello, I'm John. I am a writer and I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA. Most of my publications have been short stories in the science fiction and fantasy genres -- though I have also written poetry, essays, and a smattering of restaurant and event reviews.
The Allurium is my main home on the Internet. It is primarily a weblog/online journal. I also have some short fiction, poetry, essays and a variety of other things archived here. I created The Allurium in January of 2001 and have been on the Internet (in one form or another) since 1994.
This site is divided into three main sections: "about" (this section) where you get on overview of me and The Allurium or delve deeper into either subject. The "archives" are where all of my weblog entries and a bunch of other stuff are stored (including posts from my old online journal, "Tangerine"). The third section of The Allurium is the "contact" area, where there are a variety of ways to get in touch with me.
