Glaze

I'm thirsty; sleepy. My back, legs and shoulders are tired. Eyes heavy.

Don't think I'll be pulling an all-nighter tonight.

The snow is deep, weighty, and coated with a glaze of ice. It crunches when you step, or shovel, through it. As I finished digging out the driveway, tonight, it started to rain.

Now it is back to quiet coldness, again.

And they say another storm is on its way.

I love Winter -- but I definitely wouldn't complain about an early Spring...
