Slush

For some reason the theme song from Hawaii Five-O keeps looping through my head today. Maybe it's wishful, beach-related thinking...

It is cold and slushy around here. Rain meandering to sleet, flirting with ice and then wandering back to drizzle. Earlier, snowflakes the size of fluffy white feathers drifted down in silent profusion. Now it's just pale white and slippery-wet.
