Now here's a pretty thing...

A Last Rose - October 12, 2004
This is that last one I've seen...blooming first in the yard, and now inside. I took several pictures of it with my cameraphone. The low res results of this one, however, were so pretty...

Seemed worth a post.

Thanks, Sweetie. It's the yellow rose that's in the bud vase at the top of the stairs, now. Probably the last of this Summer past.

I lightened up the cameraphone image, increased the color saturation, and added some film grain to the image (after a median cut and some blurring).

I like the way it turned out. :-)
