Skyline Static

Earlier, when it rained, it seemed like the water wasn't really falling from the low sky but was, instead, appearing through the fabric of the moisture-laden air -- like static creeping into an image on a tv screen.

Afterward, everything glimmered and shined -- under a dramatic skyline.

It was pretty.

One day, about a year or so ago, I was sitting on the balcony of my grandmother's apartment - she lives on the 9th floor - late at night. There was a low-ish cloud layer, and it was a foggy night, and the lightning was going off between the cloud layer and the layer of fog. It was one of the oddest, and most beautiful, things I'd ever seen.

That sounds very cool, Lonita. I love those odd and beautiful moments they add an extra layer to life.
