September 2007 Archives
I'm drifting toward some coffee. It's back to work for me today (and for the next six, actually, ugh). My two days off were fairly busy. Nifty things are afoot! (I'm still trying to adapt to the fact that it is very nearly October, though; Time can be as slippery as a raindrop on a windowpane.)
Well, it's java-time for me. Gotta knock some cobwebs out of my noggin...
Happy Thursday!
Summer flowed by too fast...but these new moments feel lush.
And I'm off for the next two days. :-)

The conference went well (and was packed full of interesting information). It was a great trip and I am happy I was able to attend. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing all the new gadgets come out and to getting time for some "hands-on" exploring.
At the moment, I'm researching new cars. Seems the timetable for that purchase has moved up a few notches. Kind of stressful but, ah well. At least the day is pretty -- and I'm off work. :-)
I'm sipping a beer, in the heat. Just about done with my packing. It will be an early start for me tomorrow and, as it is after eleven already, I kind of feel like I'm burning the candle a bit low...
After my Sunday shift, my boss and I are heading out from Costco: to Washington, D.C. for a two day "Major Sales" training conference. All kinds of gadget info awaits. It should be an adventure (and I'm especially looking forward to the presentation from the Apple reps). I'm wishing for a safe, enjoyable and (honestly) quick trip. When I get back I have two-days-in-a-row off -- so that will be sweet.
Anyway, it's time to grab some sleep. I'll be back online in a few days...:-)
The light has changed. Today, the sky is a deep and perfect blue, the sunlight: crystal-clear. There is a smooth and gentle coolness to the air and the sounds of birds and cicadas speak of the end of a season. Still, Summer holds on (and I to it).
So nice to be off on a Saturday, to stretch-out into sunny hours. I'm sipping green tea and getting ready for a little picnic. I hope your weekend is bright and pretty, too.
Hello, September!
