Weightless, Fragmented

Things grew pale, a couple of days ago.  A low white sky falling weightless, fragmented.  Smoothing over...everything.  I shoveled, salted.  Lit candles when the power flickered-off for a time.  The harvest month is gone and now we are on the outskirts of Winter's kingdom.  The heater is creating a perfect circle in the ice of the fish pond.  Bare tree branches wear monochrome highlights.  I'll be in early, tomorrow.  Today was all laundry and online Christmas shopping.  Can't believe it's the twelfth month already.  Time just pours away in all directions.

Hello December.
