I feel oddly sore and tight, vaguely worn and slightly damaged today. Strange, because I was off -- and the time wasn't bad at all. Non-bright, but free of strain. My head is thumping, none-the-less, and my back will feel better pressed out on the futon. Listening to "Wake Up" by Arcade Fire on iTunes. It fits the feel. A bit. I think I'll have a long drink of cold water and close my eyes on this day. Back to work, tomorrow.
Out in the yard, today. Loving the soft coolness of the air on me. Living things greening, opening out. I took photos: playing. March 28th -- Earth Hour Day. I didn't know. I like the idea. I'm having a Guinness, now, waiting for 8:30. At the moment, via my iTunes library, Origa is singing "Inner Universe" in Russian, English and, I believe, Latin. Seems to fit. Close now. I'm slowly shutting off lights. Unplugging.

It is 7:45 and I should be in bed by 8. This day (now evening) has narrowed. Time that stretched into tomorrow is pointed now toward work, and to that early rise. So I type with an eye to the clock.
There are hints of Spring, in the light and in the air. A feel of re-blooming. A cleansing of the seasonal palate: snow for something greener. For me: a piece of dark chocolate for a glass of Merlot. A wine so red, it is very nearly night.
Ah, 8 PM.
