Early evening heat is wrapped around me like a second skin...but the sky is still blue. And new hours are opening. Flowers made of seconds and minutes.
I just downloaded the iTunes free single of the week. It's called, "Fireflies" by Owl City, so you know I had to go for that. I've always had a thing for fireflies. The song made me feel happy. I highly recommend it. Here's to joy...

Continue reading Fireflies.
Just chilling in Wednesday's waning moments. It's mostly quiet, here. I'm mostly tired. Back to work, tomorrow -- but not till later. I plan on sleeping in.
The night is dark and misty. It will feel good to get horizontal and relax into it. Others have remarked upon it, but I am a bit enthralled by the minor constellation of LEDs that now surround me at bed time. White, green, red and blue. Steady, flickering, or pulsing slow like a purring cat. There are tiny glimmers all around me in the dark.
I find them soothing.
