This is an Online Journal

Back before there were blogs, some folks started keeping diaries and/or online journals. It was, more often than not, a do-it-yourself type of affair involving a lot of hand-coded html pages, table-based layouts and, eventually, basic database-driven sites. I was decidedly low-tech in my approach.

My first attempt at an online journal was a set of pages connected to my original website, Indigo. As that grew, I spun-off a journal called, "I Have Nothing to Say". That also evolved, into Tangerine: A Book of Hours -- and that eventually gave way to my current website, The Allurium. That is where all the new writing and such goes on. I'm keeping Tangerine as, well, a keepsake.
