Open-Aired

Singing along to Iggy Pop while the day shines in blue-skied clarity. Cool breezes move through the screens. Outside, it is all open and vivid. The greens of leaves and grass, the colorful hot spots of flowers, hyper-real cloud-wisps, far above -- all washed with crystal-clear light, now slanting in.

I feel like being out in it, but I'm getting hungry too. Gotta grab something to eat, soon.

It's the Labor Day weekend, here. The last big Summer Holiday. These golden hours have passed so quickly (as they always do). Even the air tastes like Autumn, now (though that's probably just a tease -- I'm betting that the heat will return before Summer finally leaves for the year). I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing this weekend. I am going to try my best to make it fun and different, though. Open-aired.

Hmm, now what to eat? Maybe a couple of veggie burgers loaded with, well, everything I can find in the fridge. After that, I'm going to grab a shower, get dressed, and boogie. Hopefully for a couple of days. At least.

I hope the hours are as clear and bright where-ever you are. Here's to a big, wide, shiny-fun weekend...
